Each envelope contains 5 2" sticks. These sticks are as fresh as you can get. Once they start glowing, Lumistick brand glow light bracelets will last you all night. Please be aware, colors may vary depending on availability. We will do our best to provide a varied assortment of stick. They will glow super bright for 6 - 10 hours. After that, they will start to fade out but may continue to emit some light for up to 36 hours. These Lumistick brand glow bracelets come fresh from the factory and were manufactured just a few weeks ago. We are constantly getting new shipments from the factory, so you know these are as fresh and new as they come. They have a shelf life of 2 years. Glow sticks contain two non-toxic chemicals that emit light or glow when they are mixed together. Inside the glow sticks is a thin glass tube containing one chemical and surrounded by the other chemical, when you bend it for the first time, you break the inner glass tube. This mixes the two chemicals together inside the plastic bracelets tube. Just shake it up and presto -- it starts glowing like magic! Lumistick brand glow sticks are non-toxic, non-flammable and non-radioactive. The almost never break open, but if they do, the chemicals inside can be washed off skin and clothes with ordinary soap or detergent.
