Our lemongrass essential oil comes from conventional, sustainably farmed operations in India. The oil is extracted through steam distillation, where the plant is heated with water to produce a steam that releases the volatile oils, then cooled for collection. Lemongrass oil is known for its invigorating, stimulating, and balancing properties. It has a heavy, lemony, green aroma providing top to middle notes. Many oils blend well with lemongrass, including basil, bergamot, cedarwood, geranium, lavender, orange, rosemary, tea tree, and ylang ylang.
