Spanky's Dog Training Lead, the long leash for your training needs! This sturdy lightweight long leash for small dogs or medium dogs is just what you need to teach you pup to come. This training leash has a variety of uses in training your dog. Dog training leads are a great way to teach recalls without allowing the dog to ignore commands. Spanky is has Staffordshire Terrier and Aussie Cattledog blood, both very hyper and headstrong breeds. This training leash was integral in teaching him to come on command. I started with the training lead at 25 ft and allowed him to sniff around like dogs do the I would call him to me. If he was resistant I would help him along with a tug. I slowly worked my way to 55 ft making sure he always returned to me. My hope is that you can utilize this leash to enjoy the same success that I have in training Spanky. I'm a lot more comfortable with the knowledge that I can get Spanky to come to me if there is any danger, or if we just have to go home from the park!
