The Bixolon SRP-350IIG monochrome desktop direct thermal receipt printer comes equipped with parallel, serial, USB 2.0, and Ethernet ports, prints 200 mm (7.87") per second in black at 180 dpi, and can be used to print receipts, barcode labels, or other media up to 80 mm wide. Direct thermal printers use heat instead of ink and are typically smaller, quieter, faster, and more energy-efficient than dot-matrix printers. The SRP-350IIG has a maximum print speed of 200 mm (7.87") per second at 180 dpi (dots per inch) for print clarity. Parallel, serial, and USB 2.0 ports allow connectivity to a computer or other devices (cables sold separately). The Ethernet port enables the printer to be connected to a wired computer network (Ethernet cord sold separately). A paper roll cover can be opened to load media. An included auto-cutter can be used to automatically cut the receipt. The printer weighs 1.65 kg (3.63 lb.) and measures 145 x 203 x 146 mm (5.70 x 7.99 x 5.74 inches) (W x L x D). (W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; L is length, the horizontal distance from front to back; D is depth, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.) This printer accepts a roll of receipt paper measuring 80 mm wide and up to 83 mm in diameter and paper between 0.062 and 0.075 mm thick (one paper roll included). It is suitable for use with a melodist, buzzer, splash cover, or wall mount (all sold separately). For a complete set of product specifications, please see the manufacturer's brochure.Label printers, also known as label makers, can be used to print labels, tags, receipts, and other similarly sized media. Direct thermal and thermal transfer label printers use heat instead of ink to print on coated thermal media. A parallel, serial, or USB port allows a label printer to be connected to a computer. An Ethernet port or wireless capabilities may enable it to be connected to a computer network. Label printers can be used in a variety of commercial environments, including warehouses, laboratories, retail stores, health care facilities, and shipping and receiving facilities.Bixolon manufactures point-of-sale (POS) printers, label printers, mobile printers, peripherals, and accessories.
