This Carlisle HL818500 FlexiGlow aluminum single-arm heat lamp with bulb helps keep food warmed to a safe temperature in catering applications, banquet halls, hotels, and rental companies, and is NSF Listed as NHL8185 and UL Recognized. This lamp comes with a 250-watt red bulb for generating heat. Its shade has a flared rim that is drilled for increased heat dissipation and is made of spun aluminum for strength and resistance to corrosion. The switches on this lamp are located out of the heat zone for safety.The lamp sockets are insulated with ceramic and come with a screw shell and contact point made of nickel-plated copper to help prevent fusing. The internal wiring on this lamp is braided, has a silicone covering, and is rated for use up to 200 degrees C. This lamp has 16-ga. external wiring with a molded three-prong plug. This heat lamp is designed to operate on 110-120V, has wiring that can accommodate 250V, and is for use in the U.S. only.
