These 3 compartment food containers could be fitted into a cooler. And they are leak proof it matters very little that they are propped vertically inside. Upon retrieval, it is easy to 'unlock' the front lid. The portions are good sizes. One tray will hold 2 apples, 3 bananas, and a good handful of grapes. The lids raise up too, so you can have an over-extra scoop on top of your foods. Another tray will hold a good sized salad with dressing and seeds/additions or 2-3 chicken breasts, 6 boiled egg halves, and 2-3 red potatoes. Holds up nicely in the dishwasher for easy cleaning the main user of these trays works construction/rooftop electrician, 8-10 hour work days outside, with massive amounts of calories being burned. He has no complaints about these trays. These containers are great for making lunches for the week and popping in the freezer.
