Children love stamping their names on things. The capital letters on our Name Stamps are about 1/2 inch tall. The stamp die is mounted with cushion on a finely shaped 3/4-inch tall white maple block. The length of the stamp depends on the name. We will, at our discretion, reduce the size of a long custom name to fit on a 3 inch long block, the longest we use for our name stamps. It can be two names (like "Mary Ellen"), a full name (like "Mary Jane Smith") Anything goes, and it does not even have to be a name. There is no limit to the number of letters, but be reasonable! :) When customizing your stamp, the picture of the stamp block represents a 3" long block, the longest we use for name stamps. The actual length of the block used will be 1.25" to 3" depending on the length of the text
