An exceptionally rare essential oil, Davana is like a diamond of the aromatherapy world. It has a spectrum of fabulous uses and an aroma unlike any other. Davana is mainly used by luxurious perfumeries around the world to enhance fragrances with its fruity and somewhat woody aroma. Additionally, Davana is used to help with everything from digestive and respiratory issues to anxiety and muscular problems. It is rich with anti-depressant, anti-bacterial and astringent properties. The plant that Edens Garden's Davana is derived from grows to about 1 foot in height and is native to India. The entire plant is put through a steam distillation process to extract the essential oil. Even a few drops of Davana will add a chic note to any blend. Try mixing it with Rose or your favorite floral oil.
