Dualcomm Ethernet-over-Coax (EoC) kit includes two passive RJ45 Ethernet-to-Coax adapters (DECA-100) to enable an 100Mbps Ethernet connection over a coaxial cable with transmission distance as long as 240 meters (850 feet), which provides an extremely cost-effective solution for the two following applications： [Application #1: IP camera security surveillance system over coaxial cables] An IP camera is the state of art for today's video security surveillance systems which usually require completely new cabling by replacing the coaxial cables of analog video with twisted pair cables (e.g., Cat5e cable) for transmission of IP based video packets.
