What reel mower is best for you? To achieve the most effective and efficient cutting experience for your lawn you will need the correct reel mower depending on the type of lawn you have. The seven blade mowers are best used for common Bermuda, Hybrid Bermuda, zoysia, centipede and other common bent grasses. For the more common taller, wet, upright grass a 4 or 5 blade reel mower will be more efficient when cutting grass.
