This sale is for a quart of fast dry white 2.1 lbs/gallon voc epoxy primer (SMR-260W-Q) and an 8oz can of epoxy catalyst (SMR-261-8). The SMR-260 is 2.1 lbs/gallon voc and compliant everywhere. - Can be used as a primer and a sealer - True 2K epoxy, no unreacted polymers SURFACE PREPARATIONS Clean with wax and grease remover. Sand metal or old paint with 180 grit and re-clean. SPRAY GUN SETUP HVLP Gun: Fluid Tip 1.3-1.6 mm, Spray Pressure 8-10 psi APPLICATION Epoxy Primer should be applied in medium wet coats, with a 10-minute flash period between each (at 70 °F). One to two coats is enough to achieve the desired dry film thickness. Epoxy primer may be topcoated after approximately 30 minutes per coat, or up to about 3 days. After three days, the primer MUST be sanded prior to topcoat application. SAFETY This product was designed for and is intended solely for use by trained professionals. Read all warning statements and heed all recommended safety precautions before proceeding. DO NOT USE THIS SYSTEM WITHOUT SUFFICIENT VENTILATION. Users must wear appropriate, properly fitted NIOSH-approved activated charcoal cartridge respirator if a forced fresh-air system is not available. Always wear eye and face protection, as well as gloves and protective clothing. Do not use this product, or be exposed to spray mist / vapors if you have respiratory problems.
