The Vario 2000 Heavy Log Splitter is as powerful as they come. This heavy duty splitting axe is made for the most difficult jobs. The deep wedge combined with the punishing weight delivers a powerful striking force, capable of splitting tree trunks, large logs, and heavy firewood. This tool demands a degree of controlled strength from its operator, due to its size and weight. The Vario 2000 series features our patented screw system, offering easy interchange-ability of axe blades and handles. Using a simple cap screw retainer and hex key (included), handles may be replaced in a matter of minutes. Because the system is standardized, all blades and handles are completely interchangeable between all Vario 2000 models. All blades are hardened to the German DIN 7287 B manufacturing standard for maximum life and reliability. A built-in safety feature ensures loose heads are kept on the handle, eliminating the risk that they might fly off and strike nearby objects.
