This Carlisle CM1100C1402 Coldmaster CoolCheck 6" deep full-size food pan keeps food temperatures at or below the National Restaurant Association guideline of 40 degrees F for up to six to eight hours and changes color from blue to white when temperatures are no longer safe. It is made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic, which is rigid, resists impact and abrasion, has good heat resistance, and is not affected by water, salts, most inorganic acids, food acids, and alkalines. The pan has an inner and outer shell, with a non-toxic refrigerant gel inside that receives a cold "charge" when frozen overnight, turning its color from white to blue and eliminating the need for ice. When the charge is lost, the pan will turn from blue to white, indicating the food temperature has risen to an unsafe level. The pan will fit in standard sized food pan templates. It has a 6-qt. capacity, is dishwasher-safe, and measures 20.68 x 12.72 x 6.40 inches (L x W x H). (L is length, the horizontal distance from left to right; W is width, the horizontal distance from front to back; H is height, the vertical distance from bottom to top.) This Coldmaster food pan is FDA approved and meets NSF International standards for use in food handling and processing.
