The listing does NOT come with the car seat itself, nor does the canopy support (the plastic frames), canopy support(s) is/are part of your infant car seat. 2) The car seat cover goes over the seat, the canopy replaces the existing canopy that comes with your car seat, with two safety strap covers that cover the shoulder straps. Center part of the cover and the canopy are lined, but not padded.
