Once calibration is achieved, the Atomic Travel Alarm Clock will self-adjust to the time provided by the atomic clock. The MARATHON Atomic Travel Alarm Clock can be set to 8 time zones: PST, MST, CST, EST, AST (Caribbean) & NST. Newfoundland Time is a special time zone due to the distinct location of the Province of Newfoundland. While most standard travel clocks simply cover PST, MST, CST, and EST, Marathon's Atomic Travel Alarm Clock also encompasses AST (Caribbean) Time as well as Newfoundland Time to ensure our superior quality product will be useful to as many people as possible. The MARATHON Atomic Travel Alarm Clock also includes an option to turn on or off automatic Daylight Savings Time (DST) to accompany users in provinces or states that opt out of the DST Program. The MARATHON Atomic Travel Alarm Clock comes in at a compact 3.25" W X 0.5" D X 2.75" H making it a perfect travel companion. While keeping size compact, functionality has not been compromised, time can be displayed in 12 or 24 hr formats, as well as displaying indoor temperature with options for F or C, and a calendar for day, date and month. Included with the MARATHON Atomic Travel Alarm Clock is a special automatic backlight function. Marathon's Atomic Travel Alarm Clock uses a light sensor to detect if the current environment is dark and will auto illuminate the display to provide legibility for the user. The MARATHON Atomic Travel Clock includes 2 "AAA" batteries and is low power consumption to ensure maximum lifespan.
