Short cam walkers are designed for forefoot fractures, soft tissue injuries, and moderate ankle sprains. They provide the necessary immobilization required for proper healing to occur, while allowing early, safe weight bearing. Our Mars Air Short (low top) Cam Walker boot (also known as, Fracture Boot, Air Cast, Cam Boot, Foot brace, Ankle Boot, Ankle Walker, Ortho Boot and a variety of other names) offers adjustable inflation which allows the patient to inflate an air bladder to the needed compression for increased stabilization of their injury. Air cast cam walker fracture boots accommodate different swelling patterns that often occur during the recovery process.
