Our oregano essential oil is wild harvested in Turkey. The herb is then steam distilled to extract the oil, which is standardized to a minimum of 70 carvacrol content. It takes 100 kilograms of oregano plant material to get one kilogram of precious oregano essential oil. Because oregano essential oil is a powerful medicinal oil, we blend it with cold pressed extra virgin olive oil for a safe way to enjoy its strong therapeutic properties.
