The essential oil is solventextracted from the flower, then mixed with hydrating jojoba oil, a carrier oil. Rose essential oil promotes balance and calm, and has aphrodisiac properties. It possesses a warm, sweet, intense rosyfloral fragrance. Rose is a base note oil, blending well with a variety of other oils. Some favorite blends with rose oil are clove, frankincense, geranium, jasmine, lemon, patchouli, sandalwood, and ylang ylang.
