In addition, it is important that the customer purchase the correct batteries and let the components drain for a few minutes before installing the new set of batteries. If the batteries are not purchased through a reputable dealer/retailer, the batteries will not last. The batteries must be CR-2032. Draining the components before inputting the new batteries, allows the batteries to work better as well. Please see the instructions in the attached manual.
