The TGS03 model is perfect for those larger jobs de-icing residential and commercial areas. The durable polyethylene hopper holds 8 cubic feet of bulk salt and has a spread width of up to 30 feet. An optional vibrator can be added to spread salt & sand mix (SaltDogg #3020340). Powered by a 1/2 HP 12V dual shaft gear motor, the spreader has in-cab variable speed controller, so you can operate from the comfort of inside your vehicle. It includes a horizontal feed mechanism with stainless steel trough to break up clumpy material for a smooth, even spread.
Technical Details
- The spreader mounts to the back of your vehicle using a Class 4, 2 in. receiver hitch and rests on the step bumper with some simple adjustments.
- The durable polyethylene hopper won't rust, dent, or stain with use, ensuring a long road life with this spreader.
- The TGS03 has a horizontal auger feed mechanism with stainless steel trough and is pre-wired for an optional vibrator kit (SaltDogg #3020340).
