By using Synthetic rope, the winch weight is reduced by approx 20%. Synthetic rope is also able to float on water for those dreaded water crossings. DEPENDABLE & POWERFUL: The Tuff Stuff Xtreme uses one of the best and most powerful & dependable motor & gear drive combinations in the business. With a 1.6HP motor and a 166:1 gear ratio, the Xtreme pulling power that Tuff Stuff offers is sure to help you or your buddies out from any situation you may find yourself in. VERSATILITY: With as many options as Tuff Stuff has provided with their Xtreme 4,500lb UTV winch, you will never run out of ideas, or find yourself in a situation you cant get yourself out of. Included with the package is a universal mounting plate, which can be mounted on any flat surface (UTV specific mounts coming soon). Also included are 3 separate ways to power your winch. From a standard plug n' play remote, wireless remote (works within a 60' range) and a hard mounted toggle switch to work inside of the UTV. The Tuff Stuff Xtreme UTV winch also powers IN or OUT, with a silent FREE SPOOL option and smooth operating clutch on the side of the gear drive.
