The wait is over! After first introducing the BATCLIP for stethoscopes in 1995, then updating the scope design for over 18 years, we are releasing a new field-tested rugged BATCLIP for trauma scissors. Made of the same thick black leather hides we pick by hand for the stethoscope version, this design improves on other trauma shears holsters by allowing use on either hip. Also included with the leather holster are the highest-quality set of trauma shears available on the market: made by Clauss of titanium bonded to steel, these 7-inch shears maintain their edge far longer than traditional stainless steel trauma scissors even after repeated use for cutting belts, clothing, and shoes. We put this design through four iterations and a year of actual use before we were satisfied that the product would meet our standards. The BATCLIP shears is best worn on a belt behind one's right hip, roughly lined up with the inferior point of the scapula. Unlike the BATCLIP scope (which has a larger form factor due to the actual stethoscope it holds), the shears holster can be worn in such a position while seated. It stays entirely out of the way until needed. As with all BATCLIP products, satisfaction is guaranteed. Return for repair or refund at any time.
